On Force Majeure in the era of COVID-19

This recording is from a Webinar series conducted by The Lawpoint, a full service Law Firm based out of Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune. In this webinar, we took a look at the concept of "Force Majeure" as it exists in the Indian law - more specifically the Contract Act, 1872. More importantly we took a look at how the COVID-19 pandemic and the concepts of Force Majeure affect certain common types of commercial transactions such as Leases, Leave & License Agreements, Infrastructure Agreements, and Bank Guarantees.
